What’s been happening:

1964 Master of Education with a major in Vocational Industrial Education. Taught for ten (10) years mostly as T&I teacher with the Department of Education in Puerto Rico. After graduation at Penn State he was promoted to School Director at Patilas Intermediate School, then as Associate Director, Cayey Vocational School. In 1966 he was hired by Union Carbide Caribe as Training Director for four (4) years, then as Personnel and Training Dept. Head. After eight (8) years at UCC he worked for five (5) years for Sun Oil Company (Sunoco) as Personnel Manager. He retired in 1989 after working ten (10) years with Avon Products Inc. as Compensation/Benefits Manager for the three (3) plants the company had in Aguadilla (2) and San Sebastian (1), Puerto Rico. Manuel is a Charter and Lifetime member of SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management), Puerto Rico Chapter, Past President and Lifetime Member of the San Sebastian Lions Club and member of two (2) Credit Saving Unions in the Aguadilla area.
